Emirates Flight Catering is a proven world leader in the aviation catering industry, operating the largest flight catering facility in the world. Emirates Flight Catering provides in-flight catering and support services to over 100 airlines across the globe from its catering units at Dubai International Airport. In addition, it provides food and beverage services in the Emirates First and Business Class lounges in Concourses A, B, C and D Dubai International.

Our client provides airline, events and VIP catering, plus ancillary services including laundry, food production, and airport lounge food & beverage. So our client needed to be able to manage the menu that they provide, and leave their feedback for a specific type of meal there.

Also, in order to expand their business and increase their client base, they needed an additional influx of customers and the opportunity to use their internal services over the phone.

The Solution

InterCode offered to develop Web and Mobile applications with the ability to use the same functionality as it already existed in internal manual set-ups and generic company tools. Our client – Emirates Flight Catering – provides food on board the planes. We helped them calculate the cost of a huge number of dishes by developing internal Web and Mobile platforms. Our solution allowed our client to automate pricing processes and improve the decision-making flow.
