At InterCode, Claude activation is delivered by our own forward deployed engineers, who build with Claude products inside your team rather than handing you a plan to execute.
A forward deployed engineer is a senior software engineer who works inside a client's team rather than from a separate vendor backlog. They join your stand-ups, work in your codebase and tools, learn your domain and are accountable for shipped results. At InterCode, our forward deployed engineers are trained on Anthropic's Claude and use Claude products to deliver faster.
InterCode is a Claude Certified Services Partner of Anthropic, the company behind Claude. Our engineers are trained on Claude products, and we follow Anthropic's practices for secure setup, evaluation and responsible use when we build with Claude for clients.
That is not what this service is for. Our own engineers are the Claude experts: they use Claude Code, the Claude API and MCP to build and ship software for you. Your team gets the results, plus the documentation and reusable skills when we hand the work over.
Claude Code for software development, the Claude API for agents and AI features in your product, the Model Context Protocol (MCP) for secure connections to your systems, and Cowork for business workflows. Claude can run through Anthropic directly, Amazon Bedrock or Google Cloud Vertex AI.
Our engineers work under your access policies and only in the repositories and systems you approve. We set up Claude together with your security team on commercial Claude plans, under which Anthropic does not train models on your data by default, and we log and review connector access.
We aim to have engineers onboarded within two weeks of the scoping session, once access and security are agreed, and to merge the first pull request in the first sprint.
On a time-and-materials basis or as a fixed scope per phase, depending on how well the work is defined. We agree on team size, success metrics and the review point before work starts.
No. InterCode provides engineering services only. You buy Claude directly from Anthropic or through your cloud provider, and we work within your plan.
